Some days you wake up and just want to pamper yourself — maybe you’re having a bad hair day or you just chipped your new manicure — and sometimes it’s nice to just be a girl and do girly things. Whether it’s by simply letting yourself sleep in and eat ice cream for breakfast or spending an entire day at the spa with your friends, it’s important to remember to take time for yourself. Here are some of my favorite ways to feel pampered:
• Mani/pedis are my absolute favorite. Don’t you catch yourself talking with your hands more when you have freshly painted nails? Whether they’re professionally lacquered or you do them at home, a fresh coat on your fingers and toes can instantly make you feel good. This Spring, step out of your comfort zone and try a bold new color!
• Get a massage. Even if it’s just one that you bribe your significant other into giving you, massages are the ultimate way to feel pampered. Break out the lotions and release all the tension built up from your busy workweek!
• Change up your hair. There’s no easier way to boost your mood for the day than by getting your hair done. Color it, style it, cut it — you’re guaranteed to walk out of the salon feeling amazing. Even just a simple change is fun: If your hair is typically straight, add curl or vice versa. Be sure to tweet me your before and after pics!

Hi Jenny! Love your suggestions! I love pampering myself by just sitting on my deck (weather permitting) and having a fruity cocktail. The quiet time is worth every moment!
I love to pamper my self by sitting outside on my deck with a glass of wine and my fav music (nkotb) in the background while no one is home…peaceful….❤️
I like to take a hot bath, with a glass (or bottle) of wine on the edge of the tub. Pandora on my phone. Helps calm the mind and body, after a busy day!
Usually it has to do with chocolate. ..like baking cookies or grabbing a mocha. Thanks for the gentle reminder to pamper ourselves.

Think the last time I did something for myself was 2009 when I treated myself to a day at Jose’ Eber’s in Beverly Hills..Guess I’m due for another day to myself, one of these years,lol..
Awesome, when I receive a massage and facial. I definitely glow for a while. I suggest groupon especially on those days they throw out 20% on locals.
Curled up with one of my favorite books… Or spending time with a great friend usually enjoying a decadent meal

Once a week, I leave my husband alone with the remote control and join a few of my neighbor ladies in a Knit & Crochet Club. It’s a great way to ensure I make progress on my latest project, plus I get to relax, chat and laugh with friends for an hour or so. <3 =)
